In Holland the first season of Jem was aired three
years in a row, with Dutch subtitles. First Jem
aired after the British soap series "Eastenders", and
later it aired right after "Lucky Luke".
The last time Jem aired in Holland was in 1988.
This picture is from a dutch Hasbro toy catalog,
however the text on the pages with the dolls is in
french. Note that the girls don't wear transparant
shoes in the catalog picture and Ba Nee's shirt
(Krissie is wearing it) is white (sold in pink
version) and her belt is different too (not curly).
Her real socks were pink instead of red. However this
might be prototypes, since this is not the way the
dolls were sold in Holland.

The stickers were square sheets, that were made by a
dutch company so they were probably only sold in
Holland. The pictures are those airbrushed ones from
the first edition doll boxes.
The text at the bottom reads:

promotions 1987 introduct ®/ ijsselstein (utr.) holland.
The little stickersheet is nummered 832, the
labelsheet 831.
